I recently became a subscriber to KYLAUREL after a friend of my cc.ed by
e.mail me some information that regarding the Parker family (THANKS LEO). I
have since received several pieces of information, from a several of you,
that provided me with knowledge about the Parker family which I had not
seen before.
I have a couple of questions that some of you may be able to help me with.
As you may know from my previous messages, I am descended from the Parkers
on two sides of my family.

Can we get "them" to set up the "home" across the street from the KY
Historical Center? Or would we forget what we read and found before we
got across the street, and since they won't let you take folders to
remember what you are looking for -------- Oh well, don't guess that was
such a good idea after all!

Hi
This mention of Salmon again intrigues me. There have been other mentions of
catching salmon in the Rockcastle River. As most of you know, salmon are
born in fresh water and migrate to salt water until they are ready spawn and
then migrate back to the fresh water stream where they were born.
I imagine that Rockcastle waters eventually end up in the Mississippi and
then in to the Gulf of Mexico. Only problem is that salmon is a cold water
fish and would not be swimming around the Gulf of Mexico as I u

Hi Lyndon,
I can't tell you how excited I was to receive this message!!! Yes, I would
LOVE to have the 1850 census data. John Wesley was my g grandfather
and I knew nothing of his siblings or parents. Are you from this line or
another branch of the Mullins tree? If you would like info on the family of
their son Jackson, I'll be glad to tell you about them.

I had the same experience about 2 weeks ago. Could not find a pencil
sharpner
except for the one at the main desk. Also when you buy the "card" to make
copies don't put to much money @ a time, because if you are not coming back
you can not get a refund. I have $3.00 on a piece of plastic that I will not
probably use.
Hi Karlton,
I checked my copy of the Laurel County General Marriage Index as printed in the
"Branches of Laurel", and found some names for you. Remember, there is a
possibility of mistakes in typing as I found one in my family on the same page,
but this is what is available in this publication.

Hi Dixie.
I don't have hardly anything on the Brashears line except this:
Ann Nancy BRASHEARS(b. 1752, Fairfax, VA) mar Moses BALL (b. 1749, Fairfax, VA
- d. Mar 19, 1835, Russell Co. VA)
Ann Nancy Brashears is the one and only Brashears I have in my database thus
far.
More on this line can be found on my Descendents of Moses BALL webpage at

Hi List,
I have two family group sheets which I copied from "The East Kentuckian"
several years ago. One is titled "The Families of Henry Sasser's
Children," taken from Volume VIII, # 4, pp.20-23, and includes the names
of their children and approximate birth years of the children of each
family:
Keziah Sasser, m. 1838 to Peter Tuttle;
Dixon Sasser m. 1864 to Sallie Ann Tuttle;
Malinda Sasser, m. 1841 to Milton Jones;
Adin Sasser m. 1838 to Elizabeth 'Betsy' Waggoner;
Arthur Sasser m. 1840 to Lavina Weave
Community Web is right. This mindless chitchat is not what we are paying good
dollars to support RootsWeb for. It needs to be stopped immediately or reported
to RootsWeb who might cut off the mailing list entirely. Doesn't anyone read
the roots Web Review and see how many additional hard drives they have to supply
to carry this drivel? I have made a lot of good contacts through this list and
do not want to see it closed down. Please Norma, Wilma, Vietta, and the others
in on this. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
