Ella,
All is forgiven.
Sometimes, it is hard to stay focused on typing things when they don't
particularly pertain to your own line. However, I really got interested when
I was reading about the Inventories, and what became of the Orphans. The
silver lining is I found out people were reading them, and interested also.

Hi Ella and list members,
I have John Craig Brown (1803 in VA - February 19, 1890 London, KY) who
married on September 10, 1830 in Whitley Co., KY to Margaret "Maria" Craig
(April 25, 1813 - May 20, 1899 Laurel Co., KY). Might that be your BROWN
and CRAIG connection?
I have two different sets of parents for John Craig Brown and I don't know
which is correct. I know there was a George Brown associated with a John
Brown in early Laurel land records. I can only imagine how many John Browns
there were.

Mary J. Harris, I notice that someone has given you the 1900
Jackson County record of James and Jane (Edwards) McGeorge. Did
you know her maiden name? I didn't have to look it up. They are
buried in the Wilson section of the cemetery on the hill in
front of the only house in which I was born. It is about 100
feet down the road from the junction of Hwy 421 and the Possum
Trot Road.
There are no dates on the stones, just the names.
