In 1925, for the first time there are orders sending children to the Kentucky Children's Society Home in Lyndon, Jefferson Co., KY. This may give some clues where none existed before. Hope it he

I wanted to share some information which I found which might help someone trying to trace family members who were born in SE Kentucky and who seem to have disappeared or who were adopted. In researching the McCreary Court Order Book 1, which is posted on Margy Miles's McCreary Co.
