deceased this life, August 20, 1954 at 2 p.m., age 57 years 11 months and 25
days. She joined the United Baptist Church at Eagle Creek at the age of 18
and later came into the Pine Knot United Baptist Church where she lived a
faithful member until death. She leaves a husband, John Perry, one son,
Leonard Perry, Norwood, Ohio; two step-sons, Gilbert Perry, Norwood, Ohio,
and Okla Perry, Norwood, Ohio, and two sisters, Cenna Ridner, Sawyers, Ky.
Laxton, Bro. Amias-Was born April 16, 1879, deceased life December 17, 1953,
age 74 years, 8 months and 1 day. He professed a hope in Christ and joined
the Annadel Baptist Church April 23rd, 1950. Lived a faithful Christian
life until death. He was sadly missed by the church. He leaves a wife,
sister Elizabeth Laxton; 4 children, 3 girls and 1 boys to mourn his
absence. We feel our loss is his eternal gain in glory.
