MUNCIE - Carl F. New, Sr., 82, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday morning,
April 5, at Parkview Nursing Center in Muncie following an extended illness.
Carl was born July 15, 1922 in McCreary County, KY, to Samuel and Laura
(Black) New. He enlisted in the Army in January, 1940, and served for 5 1E=2 years.
Carl was a World War II Veteran and Pearl Harbor survivor.
Carl married Ella M. Davis in Muncie on Feb. 24, 1945. Carl was employed by
the Chevrolet plant of Muncie where h
