Does anyone have any information on Daniel O'NEAL (NEAL) who appeared in
the 1850, 1860, and 1870 census for Whitley County? His daughter,
Anna, married Thomas Edward MEADOWS, son of Edward MEADOWS and Abigail
THOMAS. Anna and Thomas married on July 26, 1854 in Campbell County, TN,
but they lived in Whitley County, KY. If you know anything about Daniel,
please reply. Thank you.

Hi Everyone;
Just letting you know that I have just put on-line the Millcreek Cemetery,
which is located near Sawyer in McCreary County. I have been working on
this one for a few weeks, as many of you who have asked me to hurry-up
know. :<)
It is not completed. A CRR member, Dinah Rose, is compiling an update of
recent burials for me and that will be added to the section in the next few
days. I wanted to get it on-line now however, in honor of the special
festivities going on at the church this week-end.

Please look at the information below. If you know anything about the 7
wives or children of David Edward Nelson MEADOWS (my great-grandfather),
please let me know. He got around--that's for sure, and married women
using the name "David" sometimes and "Nelson" at other times. I wouldn't
be surprised to find more wives out there whom he married under the name
of "Edward". If you know who Anna NEAL's or Abigail THOMAS' parents
were, please reply, also. I am also looking for Rufus MEADOWS, born in
the 1880s in
Hi Everyone;

This is Dr. Gilbert Vanover's "Index of McCreary County Military Veterans."
This is a listing of people from the county who served in all wars.
I am not finished with it - I am up to World War II right now, but I
thought I would go ahead and link it up and finish it as I have time.
Also Gilbert will be sending me some additional inf. to go wit

I am looking for newspaper articles concerning the convictions of Willie and Tom Gilreath. They were convicted on murder charges on April 7, 1927 in McCreary Co., KY. They both received LIFE sentences, but Tom and Willie Gilreath were commuted by the Governor on Dec 5, 1931. Tom receiving parole in April 30, 1932 and Willie in April 7, 1933.
Is there anyone who would look for articles in the newspaper (McCreary Co., or possible nighboring Co.) around these dates. Would love to have more detailed inform

I was anxious to pass it along to you.
Go directly to RootsWeb to use the search while I work on this one. For
some reason the search button is not working.

Hi Everyone~
You can now search ALL Registered Ky Death Records - 1911-2000, with no
limits! I have added this search engine to both the CRR Down Home website
and the McCreary website.
To access it at CRR just go to the Site Directory;
To access it at McCreary just go to the Death Certificates page;
I think this one is going to be VERY popular!
