I'm looking for information concerning: William Edward Smith (Born: September 27, 1902 Died: May 14, 1964) married to Ethel (Gilreath) (Smith) (Moore) 1906-November 02, 1995 Ethel married Unknown Moore. Hello; I've just added this list to my list that I subscribe too. I'm hoping to gain and share family information? I'm a displaced Stout who is a descendent of Will (b. 1891) and Ida (b. 1900) Stout(Grandparents). My Dad was born and raised in the county prior to departing for WW II and a career in the USN. I've been researching the families, Stout, Roun(d)tree, Frasier, Meadors and a few Browns in Jackson Cty TN. I'm willing to share what little I've found and looking forward to filling in some gaps with

Paula, I've been to the library there, but since I'm not from the area, I can't give you directions. It is across the street from the courthouse, I remember. I will say that the people are very helpful there. Just stop & ask someone. That's what I did & they were very helpful!!! I loved the library there!!! They not only had McCreary Co. records, but also a lot from the surrounding counties. The workers there were also very helpful!!!! You'll be glad you went!!! Bobbie
