Another good idea would be to take your cameras and take pictures of the graves at the cemetery (or cemeteries, as the case may be) and donate them to the Tombstone Transcription Project and/or the USGenWeb Archives. This was in today paper. Belinda The Muncie Starpress 5/9/03 MUNCIE - Connie Jo Cooper, 55, passed away on May 7, 2003, at Ball Memorial Hospital. Ms. Cooper was born in Stearns, Ky., and had spent most of her life in Muncie. She was a licensed practical nurse at Ball Memorial Hospital for 7 years and a member of the Northside Church of the Nazarene. She was also a member of the Eagles Lodge in Muncie. The 3rd Annual Scott Co, TN Genealogy Researchers Get-Together will be held Thursday, 19 June 2003, at the First Trust and Saving Bank Community Room in Oneida (232 South Main Street). The fun starts at 10am and goes until whenever. If you have research interests in the Scott Co area (and adjoining counties) then this is the event for you.
