YORKTOWN - Jimmy D. Phillips, 55, Yorktown, died Wednesday morning at his
residence.
He was born in Stearns, Ky., the son of Nora Clark Phillips and Marcus
Phillips. Jimmy had lived in the Muncie area since the 1960s. He retired from the
Muncie Police Department after 20 years of service and retired from the County
Weights and Measures, where he was the chief inspector. He was a member of the

1836 in Wayne County, Kentucky5,6, and died October 10, 1916 buried in Burke
Cem Wayne Co Ky6. He married REBECCA JANE VAUGHN7,8,9,10 February 24, 1862
in Wayne County, Kentucky, daughter of JAMES VAUGHN and ELIZABETH TROXELL.
She was born December 08, 1839 in Wayne County, Kentucky11, and died March
17, 1910 buried in Burke Cem Wayne Co Ky.
Children of BENJAMIN BURKE and REBECCA VAUGHN
Can you go back to about 1816 or so on your Coleman Coffey and find the names
of other family members? He wasn't the first Coleman Coffey.

I have Gains L. Burk, born July 18, 1870, married to Telitha Savannah Burke,
d/o John Granville and Anna Blevins Burke, born January 19, 1888. John and
Anna Blevins Burke are my gggrandparents. Gains and Savannah were my great aunt
and uncle.
Gains L. Burk died November 19, 1947. Does anyone know where he was born or
where he is buried?

This obit. was in today paper. Lewis was my great-uncle.
They made a mistake on it he died Sunday instead of Wednesday.

I have a Coleman Coffey in my family but he wasn't
born till 1860. He is buried in the Shred Dobbs cemetery.

The only Coffey that I could find listed, in the cemetery book for that
area, that would be old enough to be your Coffey, is Kizziath Coffey b. mar
6 1810 and Nelson N. Coffey b. June 9, 1811. These are in the Coffey #1
Cemetery. Of course there is many without tombstones or any kind of marker.

Rebecca married Benjamin Richard BURK Jr., on 24 Feb 1862. Benjamin was born
