I was told by a cousin that David Edward Nelson MEADOWS--known as "Nels" was raised by someone named Lottie Malibies. I can't quite make out the last name and it may be spelled incorrectly. Chitwood, Asbury-Son of Francis Marion and Emily Chitwood, born August 28, 1878, departed this life June 8, 1946. He was baptized and joined the Second Bethlehem Baptist Church July 1894 and on Jan. 15, 1942 he became a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church by enrollment.
