Joe, I have a Washburn relative that married a Wallace Reid in Tillman Co.
OK.in the early 1940's. Numerous families moved from Morgan County to
Tillman Co. OK back in 1906 and 1907, I thought I would mention this just
in case. Sorry, I don't have any other Reeds.

Folks, I'd like to try out something that might make contributing photos
easier to the Morgan County GenWeb website as well as make the website a

But I need some help deciding which program to use.

I was hoping that the original OFF TOPIC post would be ignored . . .
But, since we have several folks chiming in - I'll give my two cents worth. I
too don't care much for a state government caving in on the decision on the
driver's license issue. The Islamic woman refused to uncover her face for a
drivers license photo for religious reasons.
Like it or not drivers licenses are used for identification (an important issue
in these post 911 days). So now we have a precedent that a person could claim

Hope this helps.
I got the information from the Daniel Williams History website but can't
find the URL anymore. I also got it from Phyllis Ferguson in 1998 and 1999.
She's changed her email address since then and I no longer have her email

Joe,
I don't think we have exchanged info before. 2My message was confusing but I
descend from William and my husband descends from Walter. I have our direct
lines but have nothering else to speak of except Rebecca Elam Bond and her
husband were both doctors. Do you know if our Elams are from Elamton.
Rebecca is buried in the Conley cemetery near Dingus. Rebecca's parents are
Nimrod Elam and Mary Polly Eastering...Appreciate anything you have to add.

I am preparing a family tree for my sister-in-law. I have lost a lot of my info because of computer problems. I need anything notable you might have on the descendants and ancestors and or cousins of Elder Daniel Williams, David Lykins, Cornelius Frisby, and James Elam/Alice Shirecliff. My FTM is working so I don't need the direct lines but my files are gone. I will be with out a computer AFTER FRIDAY, for about two weeks. I will be subscribing through my hotmail account and checking my mail at the library

As the owner of the bravenet albums - - -
1. Can you put the albums in alphabetical order relatively easy. This
would help by putting photos in a family surname album, i.e. all "Henry",
"Kendall", "Pieratt" etc etc regardless of branch.
2. I uploaded a 160k photo and it didn't take too long.
3. Do all photos uploaded have to be transferred into an album by you.
How time consuming is this going to be to you? Once an album has been
established, is there any way we can upload di

I apologize folks. I was out of town and didn't catch the post till tonight.
One of my sister's triplets had to go to the ER yesterday and I got to take
care of the other two for a wee bit. (Everything is fine except the baby is
going to need hernia surgery.)
I need to ask that posts to this list be for genealogy only. Many of us are
sent these type of messages over and over again privately and do not need
for them to be sent on the genealogy lists. If you have a personal political

Joe,
Thank you. The family tree I am preparing for my sister-in-law is looking
good. I will enter your information into my family tree for her and also
put your letter in the misc. I am sure her family will love the statement
about Danile Boone. My husbands grandmother is the Mrs Frisby mentioned in
the article, " A Walk Through History", by Helen Price Stacy. My husband and
sister-in-law remembers her well...
Do you know of a Daniel Willian site that opened up with a beautiful home
page?
Thanks
Don't the marriage record books show the ages of the marrying couples? If
so, I sure hope someone would be willing to do a look up for me.
Samuel Patrick married Emilee Coffee in Morgan County, Kentucky on June 17,
1832.
I have no idea of Samuel's age, but Emilee was supposedly born in 1813. If
the marriage record shows age, that will at least give me a lead.
Thanks for any help offered.

Barbara, I have a Joseph Leslie "Les" Elam from Morgan Co. KY, that
migrated to Tillman Co. OK in 1907 and married a Washburn, of my mother's
line. I would love to have his parent's names and other ancestors.
I have wondered if Les was related to Jesse Elam that married Margaret,
Mar. 7, 1856 in Morgan Co.KY. . Witnessed by Joseph and Wm. Elam.
Married by James Fugett.
