Are you people aware that here are 2 ways people can post queries for Scott
County?
Some people seem to monitor one board but not the other. Some people like
to post just by sending an e-mail or filling out a form that comes to me by
e-mail, and the index of messages coming this way extends back 3 years.
Each of these methods can be searched, but I just wanted you to know each
has a separate address - and they are not complete duplicates. I
appreciate the help the experts give to people who may not hav

war in Viet Nam. A few years after Richard's death I too joined the army and
went to Viet Nam. After my tour and I returned home safe, I moved several
times and lost touch with Richard's family. I had often wondered what
happened to them and if they were well, but like me they had moved on with
their lives also. A few years ago I wrote a poem in honor of Richard Mc Gee,

Dear Scott Listers,
Help! I found in a book today a reference to a one page "memorandum of
data obtained from Lewis Flannigan," who was really Lewis
Vallandingham. It gave his age and said he came to KY (Scott area) in
1786. It was given in 1842 to John D. Shane, when Lewis was a modest 81
years old.
The document is one of the draper Collection and has the address 1842
