Hi Folks,
My name is Ted Myers and new to your list. I do
civil war research helping people find soldiers. A
lady emailed me, not for help, but to tell me she
had a civil war photo of a Lt Charles F. Post of the
35th KY Volunteers. The picture was taken in the
town of Russallville, KY. She found it in belongings of
past folks. She don't want it and her family don't want
it. She said she was going to throw it out. She then
emailed me about. If anyone out there would like
to have the photo, or are collecters
If no one has requested this photo, I would like to have it, even though it
is not my family from Ky.
If you need my address, let me know.
Thanks,
Betty

Hello,
I am compiling a history of my wife's family. She is a direct
descendent of George Washinton Boyd (1842-1915) from Logan County.
From the records I have, it appears that both he and his brother,
John F. Boyd, served in the War Between the States. It further appears,
according to some old notes, that John served with CSA forces and George
Washington served with Union forces. This is what I am attempting to
verify.
John F. Boyd: March 19, 1839 - October 10, 1909
