With the name SMITH, I know this is a long shot, but does anyone have
information (death, marriage, etc.) on this family found on the 1930 KC Census,
Jackson county MO:
Clara B. SMITH, head, age 38, divorced, born in WI, father b. Scotland,
mother b. Wis, no occupation
Thomas T. SMITH, age 5, b. MO, father b. MO
I believe this Clara was Clara B. McKichan, b. 15 May 1891 in Grant co. WI.
She married a Thomas T. SMITH, and probably was living in KC in 1920.
Thanks,

This last article from the KC Post is a step towards the evolving Journal

the separate papers said, the Journal Post counts the number of houses it
"throws to" and the Star counts those that it doesn't.. and the beat goes on!!

furniture and his team and wagon, intending to leave home
