Hi Jeanne,
The tomb was very low to the ground. The plaque of the new family was right
on top. You have me wondering now. I didn't look at the sides. My cousin
said that according to law you had to wait one year and a day to bury
another family member in the same tomb. Could it be maybe that the my
family only put up the cross, another family went in later and put their
plaque on the top? Will be going back in fall to visit and do more
research. Should also ask the woman in the church office who was

Hello,
I am looking for the Cemetery that has the Bellinger families listed in it.
I have a Margaret Belllinger (Wetterers) or Weathers that died in 1910 and she was buried in the Lafayette Cemetery #1. I have not found her listed.
Can anyone help me with this?
Rose
Katherin, did you notice if the front of the tomb had a panel in it for
names. If it has, the panel may have been turned around and used by the
other people. Sometimes this was done when the front of the panel was filled
up it would be reversed to the other side and used. Or maybe on the side of
the tomb a used up panel could have been attached.
Jeanne
