I need to locate the grave of Clinton Romeo Miller. Might even be listed as Romeo Clinton Miller. I believe he would be buried by himself, for he had no other family that had died at the time of his burial. He had moved

P.S. I e-mailed you in detail, but just for laughs not many people have
died in cemeteries. It usually takes place beforehand.

Hi Sherri Wood,
Yes, I am referring to Saline, La. I believe Saline Cemetery may also
be known as Old Caroline (a?) Cemetery (Route 7?). The land for the
cemetery was originally donated by the Williams family in the 1800's. I
am looking for the grave's of Martha Elizabeth Williams (born 9.29.1845,
died 11.26.1882) and a Mary Jane Taylor (unknown birth date, probably
1850's). Any information on this cemetery would be appreciated. Thanks,

I am looking for the burial place of Daniel Julius Caswell who died in New Orleans 20 Sept 1839, and his wife Mary Bankhead Wilson Caswell who died in New Orleans 19 Oct 1881.
Also for Joseph Caswell Hall their grandson who died in New Orleans 14 June 1846.
Thank You
Delores
Hello --Ronnie Bell,
This is just a stab in the dark, but, I thought maybe it was worth the
mention. Are you referring to Saline, Louisiana? I deer hunt in that area
and I do know about a cemetery very near the Caroline Dorman property. I
will be traveling to that area quite often during deer season. If you could
give me a little more information, maybe I could check with the local
people. The cemetery in question is a very old cemetery and seemingly
abandoned in large part.

You mean there is someone with a phone book out there with the names of the cemeteries in Monroe & maybe W. Monroe? I am still searching for my great grandparents graves in Monroe. they would be......Coralie (Brasseur) Pruet/Pruett & Leonadus/Leonard Pruet/Pruett. I do not have a death date for him & only so far a year for her which would be 1935. ny help is surely happy news for me. thanks all Jo Ann Loghry in Arkansas.....
Hi Charlotte. I knew that if I read all the mails here I
knew that I would run across your name. Keep up the good
work that you are doing by helping others to find their
heritage. You are one of a few............Bill in NH

Could someone do a lookup for me on an Ira Hudgins who died around New Orleans around the year 1870. I don't have a year date but he lived around New Orleans during that time period. He was married to Amanda Sanders if that would help. If he can't be located, could you advise me how to go about locating the cemetery where his grave is?
Thanks so much,
Faye Wood
Maybe the Monroe/WestMonroe Convention and Visitors Bureau could give you a
phone number or two or the e-mail address for the Chamber of Commerce. You
can reach the first by e-mailing mwmcvb@centurytel.net. Altho they have a
website of www.bayou.com, I doubt it would show cemeteries.

Hi Connie,
Have you checked with anyone in Lafayette, LA? The toll-free number for the
City of Lafayette Convention & Visitor Center is (800) 346-1958. They can
give you the ph. # for the Chamber of Commerce, who might know about older
cemeteries there.

Hi Everyone,
I am seeking information on two cemeteries: Pleasant Grove Cemetery
(near Castor) and Old Caroline(a?) Cemetery (near Saline). These
cemeteries are not listed in the web sites:
http://www.geogen-la.com/parishes/bienville.htm and
http://www.rootsweb.com/~labienvi/cem.htm . If anyone has direction's
to these cemeteries I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks a lot,
