He married Lucinda Dawkins who had lost her husband the year before. Her madien name was Lanham. She had four children and a farm and workers as well. I have much info on this as this was as far back as I could get. Maybe you are my missing link!

She was descended from John Cloud, William Cloud, Hughey Cloud , Martha Jane Cloud Lowrey.

Everyone who could not make the trip to the Library in Alexandria last week really missed out on a good time of learning.
Everyone working that day made us feel more than Welcome and wanting to come back for more.
We just wanted to say Thank you to all of them.
Jo Ann even got hands on training by David Manning the Director. He will be giving a training session this Winter and I would encourage anyone to attend, we can all still learn something new.

The Winn Parish Genealogical and Historical Association will hold its
meeting Saturday, Nov. 11th. Open to the public, the meeting will be held
on the second floor of the Winn Parish Health Unit building, 301-A Main,
Winnfield. The stairs are located at the rear of the building.
The meeting will start at 12 noon.
Our business meeting that day will consist of the election of officers for this next year, along with any other unfinished business for the year.
