I was wondering if there is any way to find out if Josephus Barrow was a legislator in the staet or federal government in the mid to late 1800's. If he were he would have been from Claiborne Parish. Any help would be appreciated.

My Wallace siblings lived in Bienville Parish but no record of a marriage for these 3 can be found in Bienville. I am hoping that someone can help me find them in a neighboring parish.
