Good Morning List!
I have a copy of a map Claiborne Parish with the wards drawn on it. If anyone would like a copy, I can email it to you. Please indicate what area in relation to towns or communities you are interested in. This can be helpful in some of the later census records when the census taker only listed the ward #. Hi folks,
Just got this note from Rootsweb. It seems that they will be upgrading our
mailing list (Laclaibo) on Friday for about 10 hours. You can check the list at
the posted url to see if you are subscribed to any other lists that will be
upgraded. Just thought I would pass this along so that you don't worry if you
have problems with some of your lists on Friday.
Hope everyone has a nice week :o)

I am searching for information on a first marriage of Joseph Warren McWilliams
(born in Georgia in 1856) to a "Sarah" who was born in Tennessee in 1853.
Supposedly this marriage was about 1875 as there were three children of
this union, a "Bub"McWilliams (birth date unknown), Judettie and Almeda
McWilliams (one born in 1876 and the other born in 1880). Jo

I would love to have a copy of the Claiborne Parish Map. I am interested in
the area around Colquitt, Baileytown, and Gordon. Also do you know where
Wiseville was located?
Thanks,
Janet Bryant

Hello to all! And, I hope your Christmas was very special.
I am trying to find the description of a ward in Louisiana. The
Louisiana archives indicates which wards some of the first settlers came to,
along with the sections, etc., but so far I've not been able to determine their
legal description. Can anyone help me?
Thanks much,

marriage of the first pair is unknown, but probably Claiborne Parish
1850-1860. The other two pair were married 4-Aug-1
