have you tried the new orleans public library city archives? i was there in
sept and saw some nationizations reels but i did not view them myself.
perhaps, someone from the genealogy society there can help you for a fee. i
know it is hard to get some things from new orleans but my trip there was
helpful.

genealogical connection to the New Orleans area: GOUGUET, MULHOLLAND,
PETIT (through France>Santo Domingo>LA rather
than Acadian), JOSSE, MAROTTE, and PAGART.
The Archdiocese of New Orleans has planned the demolition of three
sections of condemned wall vaults in the St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery within
the next few years. Among these wall vaults is one purchased by my
gggggrandmother, Rosa Therese Petit Gouguet. There are 12 of our

I am looking for the naturalization or declaration of intent for William
Walter Von Wilson (Wilson). According to his death certificate he was
born 1824 in Spain of a Spanish mother and a German father. I'm trying
to determine where in Spain he was born.
When he died on 7 July 1901, the obit mentioned that he had lived in New
Orleans for over 50 years. He was married there in 1849.
