Hi all, I've traced all of my Cajun-Acadian and French Ancestry all the way to Acadie and France, Hebert, Daigle and LeBouef. I'm from Houma and have found myself at a dead-end on my Smith line on my Grandmonthers side, She was an Hebert.I've traced the family all the way back to David Smith of Thibodeau. I have the names of his wife and family. His father was Jessie Smith, and the only record I've found online says he is from New York.
