Hello,
Information from the 1881 Census on an individual shows them with an
occupation of "A L Drowner". I looked up this occupation on the below
sites
which list occupations but there is no entry there for this ....can
anyone think of just what this occupation is or what it is referring to
if not an occupation at all ?......

I'm looking for the birth place of Annis Wallace, her father's name is
James. She was born in approximately 1814. She married Peter Dillon on
the 24th July 1854 at the Catholic Chapel, New Road, Kendal. Peter was a
widower aged 45 a Joiner and of Great Bolton, Lancashire (although he was
born in Ireland) and Annis aged 40 a spinster of Kirkl

Arthur Parmiter b 4/4/1852 and his wife, Eliza Cooper b 10/9/1856, set sail for Adelaide, South Australia, Australia from Liverpool on board the Camperdown in March (?) 1878 just a few weeks after their marriage 11/2/1878.
