I am trying to get information on an Irvin Texada who was married to Martha
Jane Williams. I am trying to determine who was the father and mother of
Irvin. We have information that Irvin's father was named DODGE. Cannot
locate any information on a Dodge Texada. Alledegely Irvin Texada was buried
in 1939 or 1937 on McNutt Hill Cemetery.
Thanks

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has a wealth of information on
the Texada name from Louisiana. A few members of the church have researched
the name and submitted it to the church's genealogical files. There is one
located in Alexandria, Louisiana and quite a few members are TEXADA
decendants.

There is quite a bit of info on the Texada family in Alexandria,
Louisiana. Check with the Central Louisiana Genealogical Society
located in Alexandria. As I recall, the Texada family goes all the way
back to the Spanish fort located near Natchitoches, Louisiana.
