He married ANNA BELL (ANIABEL per 1880 Census) BROOM 16 Oct 1872 in Mossy Point, Miss (near Pascagoula), daughter of CASWELL BROOM and NANCY ____________ (Nancy, according to family legend, was Cherokee). 2. CHARLES B. SKINNER, Sabine Parish, LA 1853-1905 [1]
Looking for info on Charles B. Skinner who settled in Sabine Parish, La. (1853-1905) married to Emma Hampton (1856-1922). They had 13 children including my grandfather Willis Ollis Skinner (1884-1975). From death cert. I have for C.B. Skinner- it shows his parents to be from Miss. and Ala. His parents were (I think) William Skinner and (can't read death cert.writing but looks like maybe Martha Atwood). Anyone with info on any of these folks please contact me.
