Just a note to let you know that my computer was down almost two weeks =

1912 reprinted 1976) I found the following:
Dixon, C.W., pg 155; G.W.,pg 154; Tom pg 154
All three are listed as members of the original muster roll of the
Sabine Rebels - 17th Louisiana Regiment Company B
"...Tom Dixon, died at home; G. W. Dixon, dead;..."
"While the army was at Vicksburg, Company B was reorganized with D. W.
Self, captain, C. W. Dixson, Will Duggan and F. D. Self, Lieutenants."

Seeking any info on Michael Dixon or his descendants. He married Eliza
Trevathan Parish in Sabine Parish about 1860. Eliza's son by a previous
marriage enlisted in confederate army at Many about 1862. Has anyone ever
heard of either the Dixon or Parish or Trevathan family in or near Sabine?

Looking for information on Phillips from Al, La.
Jessie Phillips b.1817, Ala, m. Margaret Ann Sullivan b. 1827 Ala.
Jessie and Margaret lived in Ms. 1846-1864, had 8 children in Ms.
They moved Belmont, La. Sabine Parish, approx 1858. One daughter Mary
Ann Phillips married Nelson Cooley (my great grandfather). Nelson and
Mollie has son Johnnie, my grandfather. Johnnie married Susan Idonia
Sanders in 1895, Sabine Parish La. J.B. was son of Johnnie and Susan.
