J., or J. T MIMS who would seem to fit. There is a THOMAS MIMS in the 1900 census whose occupation is listed as Retail ??.

I did a little further checking and based on the information on the James D. Mims family in the 1850 Bienville Parish Census and the information Jefferson B.
