This Richard LAWRENCE is from the family of Colonel Richard LAWRENCE,
Loyalist ( our family). He was the son of Richard LAWRENCE 11. Here is
what I have for him:-
Richard LAWRENCE 3rd) He was really the fourth!. Anyway He married Eliza
KENNEDY Thurs 15th September 1831. in St John New Brunswick. He died at age
48 years. "Vital Stats from NB Newspapers Vol.12." Item #690. died,

not wills exists for Samuel Lawrence and his wife Mary Avery. Samuel was
born in Groton, MA on Sept. 12, 1734, the son of Enoch and Sarah Stevens
Lawrence. He married Mary Avery on May 30, 1757 in Townsend, Middlesex, MA.
She was the daughter of Robert and Sarah Avery. They were said to have lived
both in Townsend, MA and Mason, NH. Any information, including how to

Dear friends,
Checking thru Canadian immigration records I found a Richard
Lawrence, Master of the ship 'Charlotte Langan' out of St. John, New
Brunswick in the early 1800s. Anybody out there know anything about this man.
Trying to sort Richards in Canada in hopes of eliminating enough to
pinpoint mine, who moved there from NJ.

I'm interested in finding my gggg-grandfather and -mother, Richard and Isabella
Lawrence. I know very little about them, except that they had a daughter named
Jane who m. Benjamin Humphreys about 1790 in probably Surry Co, NC. Jane may
have been previously married to Francis "Frank" Donaldson--but evidence on this
is flimsy.
Back to Richard and Isabella: I don't know Isabella's surname. I believe that
Richard died in Surry Co, NC prior to August 23, 1796, when an inventory of his
estat
I have a copy of the will of John Lawrence, written 24 Apr 1667 in
Groton, MA. This will names a daughter Mary (who was disobedient and
unfaithful to her father), sons Zachariah, Nathaniel, Joseph, Samuel,
Jonathan and another daughter Elizabeth. The will was proved 1 Aug 1667
and witnessed by Samuel ? and William Larkin, and recorded by Tho.
