Hi to all,
I am new to the MORSE Mailing List, and feel that my question has
probably been asnswered many times in the past. Once more, please.
I have a NATHANIEL LAWRENCE b: August or October 15, 1639, at
Watertown, MA. He m: (1) SARAH MORSE, March 13, 1659/60, at Sudbury,
MA, m: (2) HANNAH TARBELL, November 9, 1687, at Groton, MA. One of the
sources I have says NATHANIEL's son JOHN b: July 29, 1667, at Groton,
also married a HANNAH or ANNA TARBELL. Another source contends that
JOHN never married
I am looking for information about George Lawrence who was born in 1637. He
resided in Watertown, MA, married Elizabeth Crispe in 1657 in Watertown, and
died in Watertown in 1709. George and Elizabeth were the parents of Hannah,
b. in 1661/62 in Watertown who married Obadiah Sawtell.
I am interested in learning who George's parents were, and any additional
information that might be available. I'd be happy to share information with
anyone researching this line.

Does anyone have Lawrence ancestors from Cass/Bartow County, GA ?
Andrew Jackson Lawrence (b. 1845 in GA) and a brother, William (b.
unk), were from this county and joined Company A of the 23rd GA
Infantry with the Confederate States Army -- AJ was only 15 at the
time. Their parents were also born in GA according to census
information (1900 and 1910 AR census), but their parents names are
not known to me. AJL moved to Searcy Cty AR ca. 1870 with his
wife, Virginia, and 3 babies.
Thank you

Hi folks:
Does anyone have any links to a Bartholomew Lawrence or a Joab Lawrence,
both of whom were in Morgan County, Alabama, in the 1820s. I know Joab was
in Georgia for the 1800 census.
What I'm trying to discover is if either of them had a daughter named Anna.
My distant g-grandmother, Anna Lawrence, was married in Morgan County in
1822 to John Phillips. According to a later census, she was born in Georgia
in 1808. Her second-eldest son was named Bartholomew.
Poor Anna sure needs a family!
Thanks--
