This is a second message about Blanchard Long's son WAT. WAT was my husband's Great Grandfather. I have a good bit of documentation about him but not about siblings of his or his wife. He married Elizabeth Mabel "Eliza" Shuman. Her parents were Joseph Shuman and "maiden name" Fitts. WAT was born on October 24, 1870 and Eliza was born on August 26, 1866. I think they were both born near Estill, South Carolina which would have been Beaufort County then. Any information on WAT or Eliza's family? Thanks!

My husband's Great Great Grandfather was Blanchard Long born 1812 in South Carolina. I've found him in the 1850 & 1870 Census with two different wives. Also found him in a World Family Tree listed as the son of Thomas & Temperance Long which would add a third wife, but I have no proof of this relationship. I am looking for any information about him, his parents, siblings, and children. Blanchard and his wife in 1870, Margaret Nix are our line. We are looking for the Nix line as well.
