I am new to this list and want to chip in with very scant information about my 4th great grandmother, Mary Speer. All except names are unverified: My information says Mary Speer born South Carolina 1765, married 1786 to Patrick Stuart McGee; That family moved at some point to Burke County North Carolina; 3rd great grandmother Elizabeth McGee born 1790, married Burke County 1813 to Hiram Kelly. The McGee family moved about 1825 with the Kelly family to Habersham County Georgia. 1830 Census and land record
