I have a question, in doing research into my roots I have found the
following in a marriage record date 1799.
Bride -- Trevino,Ma. Damiana (alias - Garcia)
Father of bride -- Trevino, Blas Maria ( alias - Garcia)
What does the Alias mean, Adopted, previous marriage ? or was it used the
same as it is now used ?
Thanks
