My husband's father was CHARLES WINFRED LYONS, born 1906 and died 1943 when his oldest son was 14. He married in 1928 EVELETTE CAROLLE PEARSON and they had children in 1929, 1931, 1935 and 1940. The oldest son was CHARLES WILLIAM LYONS and he died in 1977. he was named for his grandfather - Oscar William Lyons. I am married to the middle son. Are we a match? I am looking for any Lyons families that ended up in Victoria Australia or New Zealand. My Lyons family come from Cork and were in Ballan Victoria, Australia Other members of the family can be found in Dunedin 1860's/70's. Also around Lawrence, Weatherstone, Tuapeka Districk, Hogsburn (Naseby) and Waimate. There was a Patrick (William) Lyons and a Matthew Lyons born 1835-40.
