I am interested in connecting up with any of the above group of Thompson
researchers for that region. I am in Niagara, Ontario, Canada where an
"arm or two" of the Thompsons removed to following the Am. Revolution.
Please contact for greater clarification of specific names and data.

Marge --- I have your Henry Adams b. 1583, Thomas Adams b. 1612 Line then I
go through son Samuel b. 1652/52, then son Henry b. 1684 and dau. Mary b.
1707. It is an interesting line because Henry (s/o Samuel) married Sarah
ADAMS b. 1683. She goes back to John the immigrant b. 1595. I do not have
the FRENCH or COOKE lines that you mentioned.
Roger
Margaret,
I just checked Anderson's The Great Migration Begins, Henry Smith and Ann
Pychon's Sketch and there is no Giles listed as being one of their children.
Henry and Ann were married "by abt 1635" their first child being born abt
1635 in Dorchester, MA.
When/where was Giles born? Who was his wife/children? How do you connect?

Hi All,
I'm looking for any information on the following;
Sarah BONHAM b. abt. 1650 MA married John BRYANT. They had at least one
child, Joanna BRYANT b. 1690 Plymouth, MA d. 1746 Plympton, MA married
Samuel CHURCHILL.
Patience BONHAM b. abt. 1640 MA married John HOLMES abt. 1681. He married
first, Patience FAUNCE.
I'm wondering if these women in any relate to George BONHAM? Are they
daughters of his? I have information on the BRYANT and FAUNCE lines to
share if anyone's interested.
Thanks!
Lisa

Well, Sue that just confirmed my suspicion that the parents of Giles
were incorrect. Here is what I have on Giles and my own line from him:
1. Giles SMITH, b abt 1603, d. ca 1668 in Fairfield, CT>
2. John Smith, son of Giles m. Elizabeth JENNINGS
3. John Smith, son of John m. Elizabeth JESSUP
4. Daniel Smith, son of John m. Sarah PRICE
5. Jehiel Smith, son of Daniel, m. 1st Pene DAVIS 2nd Elizabeth WHEELER
I have proven the line from Jehiel down but I know very little about
Giles. Thank you for you

Carol: If you go into RootsWebGlobal Search, you'll find loads of
information on that family. There are six Priscilla Adams listings, some of
them sourced and some of them not. I went all the way back to Thomas Adams

Adams b. c. 1530. Several of them have a lot of information on her husband,
Nathan Chapman. As I said, some is sourced, and some is not. But at least,
it's a guideline. Each researcher has listed his/her nam

I have George as the father of Sarah Bonham (Sarah Morton as
mother). I descend from another daughter of John and Sarah
(Bonham) Bryant - Ruth Bryant 1685-1757 who married William
Churchill. He was my 5th great grandfather.

I am pleased, Roger, that we both have the same staunch ancestors as the
Adams. After reading David McCullough's recent book about John, I am even
more devoted to him than ever. And we each have a different Sarah Adams in
our line. Sarrah must have been a popular name then, and is becoming so again.
A toast to all the Adamses, which includes you and me, though I'm a few
generations away from that honored Adams name. I've married a McDonald 51
years ago.
