Hi Jan,
The entire Hazeltine family is a mystery to me pretty much, other then what
you have provided to me. Anything you want to send me on them would be
greatly appreciated since they while not being new to me, are new for me to
research. The family and its history upto Daniel, Mercy and Thankful would
be welcome information for me. Thanks again for all your help. Kathie

Hi All Listers,
Tom P. I could not have said it better myself. :)
Only one thing I can add here is that a free PAF (Personal Ancestral
File) can be downloaded from the Mormons LDS Site. It is a good
program and free Too. :)
However remember a hard copy is also your best backup. :) I have
always used a Genealogy Program however have always kept a paper
trail that will make quite a barn fire someday.
And anyone that's ever been to 16 G. can vouch for th

Hi Listers,
Rootsweb was down for about 12 hours,

Let's try this again! The middle of my sentence was removed in cyberspace.
Weird! What I said was...

Hi Kathie,
Daniel and Mercy (Tyler) Hazeltine did have a daughter named Thankful (she is
named in his will which was dated 1747 and at which time she was under the
age of 21 but birth not recorded - at least that I could ever find.
I have a copy of pages from "Genealogical Sketches of Robert and John
Hazelton And Some Of Their Descendants" compiled by Dr. William B. Lapham.
Someone had penned in the information that Thankful (daugh of Daniel and
Mercy (Tyler) Hazeltine) married Daniel Corbett and th
I have a request for all who have records for Mendon/Milford and

I am paying the price of being a bad genealogist from years ago and not keeping a paper trail and resources.
I have a 5th gr-grandmother who is Thankful Corbett, she married Daniel Corbett in the Mendon area (this marriage is in vitals for Mendon under name "Hazeltine") 1766.
I have no birth record for her, just that she was born abt. 1748/50.
Anyway, along that same line I also h

Well that lovely little virus got me. I do have Norton's Live Update virus

This new virus was just too new and for some reason Norton hasn't upd
Hi Joel,
Although I agree that "Saints and Strangers" is a good account of the
Pilgrims, a later book, "Plymouth Colony, Its History & People 1620-1691" by
Eugene Aubrey Stratton, published in 1986 is excellent, both in writing style
and content (all fully documented). Stratton's book is generally
acknowledged to be the best and most accurate on this topic to date.
I have an interest in William and Mary Brewster as I descend through their
daughter Patience, who married Thomas Prence.

Jean, just went to the www.familysearch.com and looked it over to see if
they answered your questions.
I'm not sure if you can order a film from their library online, but maybe?
It looks like you can only have it sent to the Family History Center nearest
you, not to your library (which might otherwise work if they had
inter-library loan). They do have an email address you can write where you
may get more authoritative answers:

so all the sender needs to do is put in a subject of interest and you have
