1. [MAHAMPSH] John Strickland of Hadley, Hampshire, MA [1]
Looking for information on the parents of John Strickland of Hadley, MA who married Tabitha Hastings (c1715-?) 1-4-1739 in Hatfield, Hampshire, MA. Their son John Strickland, Jr. born 1741 graduated from Yale and became a Presbyterian minister. I suspect that this John may have come from CT. Any information would be helpful. Thanks, Susan -- --- Susan C. Johanson, Haymarket, VA http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=johanson http://ww

The ones for Franklin County seem to have more info than the ones for Hampshire County. Remember when reading them that they were publisdshed in 1848 and they did not spell every
