Hi Everyone,
I have been on this list for several months now and can not remember
seeing one message that is researching MATTHEWS in the UK.
I have traced my MATTHEWS family line from Norfolk, England, through
Cambridgeshire, to Essex, England in the early 1800's.
My research has focused on direct lineage and I have not followed up
any siblings as yet. Apart from an Aunt Maggy, now deceased, who
emigrated to Canada (I believe in the 1930's) I no of no link with t

I did not find a cemetery listing for Alice or Jessee Matthews.

ANGEL, Arthur (1903-1941)
ANGEL, Francis (d. 21 Jul 1906)
ANGEL, James (no dates)

Hello all --
I am new to this list so I thought I would see if anyone recognizes my
great grandmother, Lydia MATTHEWS. She was born on October 12, 1856, place
unknown. She died on April 18, 1895 in Montgomery County, MS.

daughters, Jenney and Beulah. Edmond went to plow the fields one day and
simply disappeared. It is thought that he went to Texas where he already had
family.
Next Lydia married Nathan Hanks JONES, my
It was just pointed out to me that I failed to say the area that these
people were from/to. Although most of them were born/died in the UK.
George Matthews and Florence brought all of their children over with
them...with the exception of Edwina who had passed, and Mavis Florence who
remained in the UK.
