Have you checked the MA VR for Athol, Hardwick and Old Furnace [which I find listed as a Worchester Co., Post Office in Bahn's Americran Place Names of Long Ago which means it was probably a part of some other town] to find a marriage for her? The microfilmed marriage indexes go up to about 1900 by 5 year increments so her husband should be identified and checking his marriage record should identify Sarah's maiden name.
