passenger, Edward Leister was called by Bradford (Ford 2:400, 411), a servant of
Stephen Hopkins who "after he was at liberty, went to Virginia, and ther dyed."

Tristram had the notion he would set up the colony on Nantucket along

English estate with Tristram in charge. In this he wasn't so very

time, but not everyone else on the island felt like being a peasant and

With all the discussion of Minors, do you have any information on the
family that Thomas David Minor belongs to. He married Delilah F. Ferrell
in Halifax Co., VA in Dec 1807 so I figure the was probably born between
1780 and 1787. He went to Wilson Co., TN shortly after marriage and
served in the War of 1812. After a few years there he moved to Jefferson
Co., IL, where he remained until his death about 1838. Any information
or direction greatly appreciated.
