I've "rescued" an old photograph which I believe is of Belle MCCONNELL. The
photograph was taken at the A. J. Ralph Studio in Columbus, Wisconsin
probably sometime in the early 1900's. Belle appears to be in her 20's at

also written the name "Mrs. Fanny PARKS" on the back of the photograph as if
that was the person to whom the photograph was given.
I'm hoping to locate someone from Belle's family so that this wonderful old

Virginia stretched to where nobody knew! I did have some families in Chester County, Pa., who moved through and down to N.C. and S.C., and then I had many who were in Virginia long before the Mayflower... and if I count the smidgen of Cherokee blood, even longer!
I have found when doing research, its easy to get off track if I try t
