David McCracken, Aquilla McCracken & Andrew McClure, each made land entries in 1778, of adjoining land in Burke Co., NC. David's warrant said it included his improvements. The survey of his 250 acres shows Andrew McClure and John Wilson, Chainmen. Is John Wilson a brother-in-law?

Alexxander maried Abigail Fail (Faile) in 1750, Wilmington, Delaware.The couple moved to Chester Co., PA, but for a short stay,Alexander paid taxes in Orange Co., NC., 1755 His will was dated 27 Aug 1795 & proven Nov 1795. it has a shield.. 2 quadrants have castle towers, the other 2 have a hand holding a cross.. on top of the shield is a helmet and then another tower on top of that ive heard of another variation.. do you have it? or more info? I have seen that some say that David McCrackin (en) and Andrew McClure maried sisters, Elizabeth & Mary Wilson, and that their mother was a Patton, but never any proof. I also do not know the dates of birth of David & Elizabeth McCracken, but David McCracken died, testate, Lincoln Co., TN, 1812, and Elizabeth McCracken, his widow, died intestate, Lincoln Co., TN., 1821. Neither were born in Habersham Co., Ga., which was established c. 1818. They lived in Guilford Co., NC., when it was formed from Rowan
