2. Re: [MCKILLOP] McKillop origins [1]
Do you have any information about any McKillops that immigrated to Ireland in the late 1700's. That is as far back as I can trace my McKillop roots? I am looking for the Scotland connection. Thanks Clare: I get so confused. It seems I put messages out there and never get an answer. So as I understand it now, if I want information about a certain name I should put it out on the message board? I also know that six McKillop children immigrated from Ireland between 1825 and about 1832. Where should I look to find the ships they came on. They were all from County Antrim and I know for sure that two of them went to Scotland first and then to Canada. I am so new at asking for information, pleas
4. [MCKILLOP] Message board / mailing lists. [1]
Hello all, Just a note to clarify that whilst posts to the McKillop message board get forwarded to the McKillop list, it doesn't work the other way around. So, if you want to respond to a board posting that has been duplicated to the list you will have to go to the board and post your query/reply there, or the original poster won't see your message. Not all the folk who post messages to the board are also subscribed to the list. Hope that helps. regards Clare McKillop.
