Dear List Members,
If you have posted a message to the list today, November 18th, and have
not seen it come through to the list, you will need to re-post it.
Rootsweb was down today and all messages posted during the last 12 hours
have been lost.
I am sorry for this, but the problem has been fixed and we are now back
to normal.

It was Roselawn Cemetery here in Madison, WI. The other, larger cemetery that I have been doing lookups at is Forest Hill and they are the tops in cooperation--I have free rein to their record books and they will make copies for me of whatever they have.
I have rec'd several good ideas and will try following up to see if this is true or not. I, too, figured we would have heard about it on some genealogy list.
I have not even been limited to the 75 year rule anywhere--even the state records office. The onl

Kathleen,
I want to thank you for this list of people who attend the first
Thanksgiving dinner..It was real interesting and I enjoy reading it..My 8

He was real happy when I printed out so he can take it in to school. So on
this Wonderful day that does bring family together it was nice to share this
with each other. Hope you and your family has a Happy Thanksgiving.

I'm going to see what I can find out about this
so-called admendment to the Privacy Act. I do think,
however, that we would have all heard about it long
before now if it were true. The birth/death info
itself is public record as are the actual tombstone
inscriptions themselves. Of course, who bought the
plot, etc. may not be public info. Death certificate
info is also public information. Plenty of cemeteries
have shared their records with various compilers
without any problems. But, and I'm guessing

Yesterday, I stopped at a local cemetery office because I wanted to find my friend's grave so I could go look at her stone, which had just recently been placed. I kind of remembered the section, but I had walked it a few weekends ago and no luck. So, I stopped in the office to get a map and directions to the exact plot.
This is not a cemetery I have visited doing volunteer genealogy look ups, so while the guy was getting me the info on my friend, I asked him if they got many genealogy researchers in there
