4. [MD-CENSUS-LOOKUP] JACKSON - Jesse, Eliza, Susan [1]
Can someone with access to the 1850 Maryland census please help me locate my great great grandmother Susan L. JACKSON, born September 9, 1841? According to the family Bible, her parents were Jesse and Eliza JACKSON, both probably born c1810. I found a "Jesse JACKSON" in District 3 of Baltimore County in the 1840 census, but thus far haven't been able to locate the family in 1850. I believe the area that was District 3 in 1840 was in District 2 of Baltimore County at the time of the 1850 census. Th

Have a look at ancestry's substitute for the mostly destroyed 1890 census. As other(s) have indicated, there are only 2 Benjamin Hessey's in MD in the 1880 index on familysearch.org, and neither one's birth date matches. Just curious....what are you basing his birthdate on?
