Hello Everyone,
I'm researching my elusive Irish ancestors and I think I may have found
something (finally!)...I thought they remained in Washington County, but,
now I have a census index from 1860 that may place them in Allegany County.
Does anyone have access to the actual census? I'm looking for:
Daniel REARDON, in Frostburg District, page 479
He would have been married to Mary and approx. 26 years old. He may have
been working for the B & O railroad....he was born in 1834 in Ireland. Was

I've been trying to research my mother's Irish ancestors, who have been
painfully impossible to locate. I've been looking for 2 years, and, so far
I've got very little to go on, except I know her grandparents came to the US

I would like to obtain the actual census information for George & Maggie
Fick of Baltimore City for 1920.
George Fick would have been about 64 years of age then.
Maggie Fick would have been about 62 years of age then.
Thank you.

Looking specifically for Mayberry Law. He would have been about 4 at the
time of this census. Also any other Law households in the county for 1880
Thanks,
Mike

Hi, and BIG THANKS !
I'm looking to find the heretofore unknown Jacksons...I know Thomas Andrew Jackson was born ca 1824/5...which would make him around 5 years old in 1830...I believe he had an older brother named George Washington Jackson...born ca 1809-11...I would like parents names...of course...lololol...
Thanks,
Dixie Lea in K.C...Ks.
I am requesting a look-up for the 1900 Census for either Prince Georges Co. or Anne Arundel Co.
Please search for a Vermillion family.
I am looking for Elizabeth Vermillion, who would probably be about 10 or 12 years old on the 1900 Census.
I don't know the name of her father; her mother's name was Jenny (which could've been short for Virginia). Her brothers and sisters names were: Agnes, Mamie, Carie, Johnny and Irene.
Thanks for your help.

Hi. I'm trying to find my McGlaughlin ancestors who lived for a while in Baltimore City, MD. I'm not sure what year they moved there from PA, though could've been living there in 1850. In 1860, they are definitely there, and were gone to Cecil Co. by 1870. Below are the names of the parents and their children who were born after 1850 (except Joseph) and before 1860:
John McGlaughlin
Mary Ann - wife
Joseph W. - son
John H. - son
Charles E. -

I found the following listings (on my Heritage Quest Maryland and DC 1870

column headings separated by commas and have done the same for the individual
listings. The census microfilm number is M593 and the roll numbers are
listed for each individual.
Surname, Given Name, Age, Sex, Race, Birth Place, County, Locality, M-593
Roll, Page
Law, Christian, 44, M, W, Meck, Washington, Chewsville P O, 597, 428
Law, James, 29, M,
I have recently purchased the Heritage Quest 1870 Census Index for Maryland
and the District of Columbia. I also purchased the Heritage Quest 1870 census
cds for Anne Arundel, Caroline, Calvert, Charles, Prince George's and St
Mary's Counties in Maryland.
If anyone on the list needs a look up in this index and/or the census CDs I
mentioned above, I'd be happy to help. However, I am copying the listings
for several surnames (both from the index and the census cds) for a relative.
I should have com
