I am new to Baltimore County genealogical research and ask, in advance, for forgiveness for anything stupid I may write. :-)
My ancestor was George A. Beatty (b. 1862 and d. 1922).
I am trying to locate him on the 1870 Census. I have the census images through ancestry.com but I do not have access to an index. So I have been going page by page .... there are a lot of pages.
In 1900 (the closest census year I have to 1870 as I did not find him on the 1880 index at LDS), George was in "Texas" Baltimore Coun
I have found a family in Ward 10 of the 1820 Baltimore City Census. Does
anyone know which ward in the 1810 census would correspond to this?
Thanks for any help.
I would really appreciate lookups for the following two individuals in the
1880 Census for Baltimore City. I am particularly interested in learning the
family members who were enumerated with these heads of household.
1. Johan Hahn, age 45, laborer

2. John Hahn, age 38, laborer

Hi...
I am seeking help in locating my ancestors....I found some information
that I found after I posted the last time on this family....
I found out Victor Kline(Mar 1863, MD, according to the 1900 census) was
the grandson of Paul Kline(born around 1813 or so, according to the 1880
census in MD). Paul also was the son of George Kline and Elizabeth
Walker Kline. Paul was married twice: 1. Alicinda C. Hessong and 2.
Roennah Poffenberger. He and Alicinda had 4 children with two grandsons

I am hoping someone can help. My gggrandfather is listed in the 1880 census as living in gardenville--I found this on the LDS site. When I tried to look it up in the images on Ancestry.com I have no idea how to go about it. How can I find out which district gardenville was in in 1880? Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Hi...
I am seeking information on the Lum(m) family....George Lum was 66 in
the 1880 census for Cavetown, Washington Co., MD and he was married to
Mary who was 51. George was the father of Ada(or Adith or Edith) Lum,
who was my great great grandmother. I found Ada or Adith in the 1900
census married to Victor Kline. Ada was born Aug 1868 and born in MD
according to the 1900 census. Ada was the mother of my great
grandfather, Walter Kellar McPherson. Ada, according to the 1900 census,
had been married

Not sure what precinct it would be in, but Texas is on the north side of
Baltimore City in Baltimore County, a couple of miles outside of the current
Baltimore Beltway (I-695). No help in Census records I know.
Don't disregard mispelled or wrong names. There is a George H. Beatty
listed in the 1880 Census, that is about the right age for the one you
seek. His father would be William H. Beatty and mother would be Amelia A.
(Slater) Beatty.

That is my John E.Poisel, living with his in-laws (their name is Robertson but birthdates and names match). Now If you would be so kind...could we find them in 1910? He was dead by 1914 and the family has no information about him.
Thanks so much!
I hate to ask but is anyone willing to lookup Eaton
without a first name in the 1790 census only for Harford and Frederick
Co. I know there is a John Eaton in Harford probably near Monkton so I
don't need that, but I am looking for John's father and hope to find him
living close by. Back then Frederick county was also near by. Thank you
for your help.-jo
This is my husband's grandfather, born 1869. I know he married in 1899 so he should have wife, Daisy, listed with him. I am most interested in his occupation.
Correction to my earlier request to look up Bailey's.
Family consists of, at least -
father - William N. Bailey
mother - Marian
Children - Vincent, Evelyn, and Veronica
William may have been a tailor.
Thanks
