Kathy,
I have also found some of the page/image numbers to be confusing
and indexed links have been linked to the wrong page.
Here is what I have basically figured out.
The image # is the image number on the microfilm----not the image number at
ancestry. The image number is only valuable if you are going to visit a
branch of NARA or you local LDS library to look at the microfilm.
Stick with the page number when looking for someone. If I don't find the
person on the page that the "View Image O

Paul,
The 1900 Head of Household index lists 4 Conrad Miller's in Baltimore. I've
listed them below. The three listed in Wards were in the city. The fourth
says "Joshua." I've lived in the Baltimore area all my life and have never
heard of a place by that name. There was no Felix or Concordia Miller in
the index.

I think we were going back too far. If you grandfather was born in
1892, we should start around there. What is your grandfather's name?
The Paul P. Esbrandt that I sent from 1910 could be your grandfather's
dad. Or do you already know his name? Paul was born in Germany. We
may or may not be able to find his parents here.
The only Esbrandts that came up in 1910 and 1920 were in MD and NJ.
1880: Emul Esbrant, born 1833, male, white, born Germany, living in Iowa.
No Esbrandt or Esbrand.

I am looking for Sarah Elizabeth COUP, born December 5, 1832 in Washington
Co., Md.
She married a William JOHNSTON in Maryland, between 1847 and 1852. Are there
any more COUP family members around?
Bill Bryce
I could not find any in 1830 or 1840 in MD. But in 1850 there is an
Elizabeth in Washington Co. Also Jacob and Catharine in another
household. I cannot find the image yet.
Seems to be something wrong with ancestry.com in 1850. It sends you to
the wrong page. Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks for any info.

I have information that the family of Charles and Crescentia Schisler were
living at number 85 Somerset Street in 1880. Did they appear there also in
1870? Charles was 35 years old in 1880 with 9 children.... What were their
names and ages?
I am working backward to try and figure out when the Schisler family arrived
in this country. Thank you. Lois Z. <>
Charles,
The 1920 index is showing 5 results for George ROTH, but 4 are in
Baltimore and one is in Talbot Co. Would George be head of household and do
you have an age for him? The George's in the index
are in their 40's and 50's and one 30 yr. old.
The only ROTH listed in Caroline Co. is a 15 yr. old Henry.

I have a Baltimore Co. Map showing the farm that ? Schessler owned in the
Perry Hall/White Marsh area in 1877 near Silver Spring Road and Putty Hill Road.
Surrounding neighbor's names are Biddison and John Lhoman . I want to find
out as much info on this family as I can.... What the family members names and
ages are, how long they have lived on the farm and the size of the farm.
Apparently this farm was once part of White Marsh farm owned by the Ridgely
family. Thank you for your help. LoisZ.
Lois- what county is this? I don't see them in Balto in 1870

Looking for Michael ROTH in 1920, don't know when he was born but he die in
1925. He married Philipina VONVILL ( OR VONVILLE) IN 1917. They was married in
ridgely, md.
thanks

Paul- the ones John listed for you are ages 24,34,50 and 43. They
don't sound like your Conrad. But as he said there are no Felix or
Concordia in the index. Only heads of house are listed in the index. At
age 17 in 1900, Conrad would not be a head of house so he would not be
listed.
With a name like Miller, we really need to know his father's name.
Do you know Conrad's middle name? There are 16 Harry Millers in Balto
in 1900 no Symonts. I will check the Harry's if you think that is a

Pollee,
I searched the 1850 index at ancestry.com and the 1860 Heritage Quest index,
but this family is not showing up in either year.
Have you found a year of immigration? Maybe Louis wasn't here in
1850?
Sorry I couldn't find them,
Lou
