I was not clear. Martha Price, in Dover (I believe) but certainly in Delaware during the Civil War, was 'during' the war, but I'm sure she was a non-combatant.

Has anyone ever run across a Daniel Green b 1776 in Caroline Cty in their research? IGI records show a Samuel E Green as his father.
Would anyone have names of any Greens in Caroline Cty during the mid 1700's.

Hi Jane
I am presently on a cruise returning easter. Yes, my mother was a Porter. Her family goes back to a John and Nancy(Condon) Porter from Mispillion Hundred in Kent co. Del. I believe John to be born sometime in 1700s dieing in 1818 possibly originally from Caroline Co area of Maryland. I have lots on him and his children but not his parents. Any help greatly appreciated.
Don Leamy
What exactly do you want to know about the Porter family?
Do you connect to the Porter family? If so I know a
Porter researcher you should be in contact with.
Also if you are related to the Norwood family, then it is
Kitty we need to get you in contact with.
Let me know what you are specifically looking to find.
Jane Thursby
Church HistoryAm forward this on hoping someone can help this person. I don't believe he is a member of the list so please reply to him directly.
Thanks!
