Hello. My name is Cheryl Bachman (married name is Neri) and I am the grand daughter of Thomas Alda Montague. I googled my grandfather's name and was brought to a historical site for Caroline County which mentioned him and his home across from the railroad tracks in Henderson, MD. I have many fond memories of placing pennies and nickels on the tracks as a child, in anticipation of the train smushing them flat so my brothers and I could have them as keepsakes. Hello All, I recently came across another old book that I thought may be of interest to some of you. It is from 1843 and is titled "Pilgrims of Maryland".
