Hello.
My name is Cheryl Bachman (married name is Neri) and I am the grand daughter
of Thomas Alda Montague. I googled my grandfather's name and was brought to
a historical site for Caroline County which mentioned him and his home across
from the railroad tracks in Henderson, MD. I have many fond memories of
placing pennies and nickels on the tracks as a child, in anticipation of the
train smushing them flat so my brothers and I could have them as keepsakes. My

I recently came across another old book that I thought may be of interest to
some of you. It is from 1843 and is titled "Pilgrims of Maryland". It's
pretty interesting reading so if anyone would like to see it I have scanned
