Hello, does anyone have information on the parents of Ishmeal (Ishmael) Bateman b abt 1683 in possibly Prince Georges Co Md, who married Mary Boyd? They were the parents of Martha Bateman who married Major Henry Hall. I am trying to see if he is connected to William Bateman who died in 1706/07 in Anne Arundel Co Md. Thanks for any help. Carol B. Carol, I too am researching Batemans. I do not have his parents, he died in 1718 PG County, MD. It seems most of the early Batemans are related- they lived in clusters in M & M 100. I would be happy to work with you and share what I have, see if we can piece it all together. There are also some early Batemans in Western MD- Cecil County. Hello list, I am looking for information on Capt Anthony Beck of London Town in Anne Arundel Co Md. I don't know his birhplace or date, but he died in 1749 as published in the Maryland Gazette on 9-20-1749. He died at sea while commander of a voyage to Holland from Philadelphia, in which he transported a group of Palantines to this country. He may have been married twice, first to a daughter of Stephen West. His second wife was named Jane, and she was his widow. Samuel Chambers had a daughter name Jane

Wanda, Thanks for the lookup. I can't figure out if the Cecil Co Batemans are related to William d 1706 or Ishmeal b 1688 or not, but I'm thinking they may have all been related.
