Hello, does anyone have information on the parents of Ishmeal (Ishmael)
Bateman b abt 1683 in possibly Prince Georges Co Md, who married Mary Boyd?
They were the parents of Martha Bateman who married Major Henry Hall. I am
trying to see if he is connected to William Bateman who died in 1706/07 in
Anne Arundel Co Md. Thanks for any help.

Hello list,
Here is my file on the family of my 3great-grandmother Rachel Chambers as I
have researched it over the past two years. Please look over the information
and see if there is anything you can add. I would also appreciate any
corrections. Thanks again to all of you who have helped me find her family.

Carol,
I too am researching Batemans. I do not have his parents, he died in 1718 PG
County, MD. It seems most of the early Batemans are related- they lived in
clusters in M & M 100. I would be happy to work with you and share what I
have, see if we can piece it all together. There are also some early
Batemans in Western MD- Cecil County.

Hello list,
I am looking for information on Capt Anthony Beck of London Town in Anne
Arundel Co Md. I don't know his birhplace or date, but he died in 1749 as
published in the Maryland Gazette on 9-20-1749. He died at sea while
commander of a voyage to Holland from Philadelphia, in which he transported
a group of Palantines to this country. He may have been married twice, first
to a daughter of Stephen West. His second wife was named Jane, and she was
his widow.
Samuel Chambers had a daughter name Jane

Back in 1999, the Town of Elkton acquired a large tract of land owned by the
Hollingsworth Family. Containing two colonial era structures, it served as
a port for navigation across the peninsula. The vision for the property was
to develop it as a museum that interpreted the area's history in the
colonial period to about the Civil War. The house, which has been restored,
was full of centuries of cultural artifacts of the family.
But now the town of Elkton has proposed selling a part of this priceless
