Hi Cindy - You found our Joseph Henry Fowler. He was married to Sarah Elizabeth? Shorter descended from from Thomas. I have photos of their graves in DC. Their niece, Sarah Wilson, is shown living with them in the census of 1880 in Charles County. My great grandfather - James William (Joseph Henry's brother) is shown in the same household as a work hand. Two years later they were married! Their son James Preston is my grandfather.
